    I write in many genres (science fiction, YA, Christian, mystery), but I'm aware that not every reader likes every genre. Forming a publishing company dedicated to high quality, kid-and-adult friendly works just made sense.

    Julie C. Gilbert's Extended Bio

    • Writer - I started writing just before college and never looked back. Each summer, I would select one project/novel to complete. This is the first year I tried writing mid-year and the first summer I'm attempting more than one writing project at once. Completing one project a summer's great, but there's too much to write and only so much time to go around.

    • Teacher - I've taught biology and chemistry. Hands down, my favorite part of the job is/was giving one-on-one extra help. I'm currently rethinking my career on that front, but I do have a lot of commentary to add to the discussion on the profession.

    • Believer - I am a Christian, but I honestly don't remember the "exact" moment I believed. As I grow and mature, I learn new things and deepen my understanding. I've come to the conclusion that though it would be cool to pinpoint a moment in time, it really doesn't matter at this point.

    • Blogger - This is a new one for me, but I'm realizing that my interests are too wide to confine to books alone.
